Did you know basketball was invented at the Y? For over 130 years, the Y has been the place for sneaker squeaks, bounce passes, and crisp swishes. Develop your game at the home of hoops.

Competitive Basketball

Our Traveling Hoop Elite basketball teams—known as THE Program—are an extremely competitive group and are consistently considered one of the top programs in the state. For boys and girls grades 5–12.

3-60 minute weeknight practices and weekend tournament play
Tryouts held each season

Developmental Basketball

Up your skills at the Y! This program provides the fun and team comradery of a recreational league with the added focus on skill development run by YMCA staff. This program is recommended for Intermediate/advanced Players.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own basketball to practices/games.
Teammate or coach requests are accepted with online registration only. We try our best to accommodate all coach/player requests but we cannot guarantee every request will be made.

Participants will receive a reversible jersey
Certified referees are provided for games.
2-60 minute weeknight practices, games on Saturdays, and one tournament

Recreational Basketball

For youth age 3 through grade 5. Our league is designed to give players of all skill levels the opportunity to succeed on the court and to build relationships with their coach and teammates off it.

Volunteer Coaches are needed for teams.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own basketball to practices/games.
Teammate or coach requests are accepted with online registration only. We try our best to accommodate all coach/player requests but we cannot guarantee every request will be made.
